Many of us live in what some have called a "first half of life" culture, we celebrate the young and beautiful. Yet despite our attempts to ignore it and pretend we're going to live forever death is an unavoidable reality.
Many through the ages have actually found it powerful and meaningful to actively be reminded of the brevity of life and reflect on how soon we too will be passing on. This week we're asking whether they are onto something and what reflecting on death can teach us about life.
